The Service Commercial Management department is overall responsible for supporting the continuous and profitable business growth in Service across Asia Pacific and China (APAC) by selling service solutions for Renewable Energy assets to both new and existing customers.
The different service solutions are typically relating to one of the following business areas:
- Long-term Operations & Maintenance agreements (Maintenance Contracting
- Transactional sales of Parts & Repair solutions (Parts & Repair)
- Sales of upgrades, performance improvement & end-of-life solutions (Fleet Optimization)
- Target customers are all investors, owners & operators of Renewable Energy assets and especially Wind Turbine Generators (Vestas & non-Vestas) in the APAC region
- The main markets of the APAC region consist of Australia & New Zealand, India, Japan, China as well as Greater Asia
Transactional Professionals are responsible for processing high-volume transactional sales opportunities quickly and accurately, ensuring smooth quoting, order management, and alignment with customer-specific terms.
By being the first point of contact for daily operational matters, you will ensure customer satisfaction in the whole transactional sales process.
You will also coordinate all transactional sales related activities between Services Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Service Operations and other departments. The goal is to tailor the transactional sales offerings to meet the customer demand.
A solid customer & service mindset, commercial acumen and a good general technical understanding is required. The job demands diligence and attention to detail as well as solid interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:
Business Development & Hunting
- Identify and pursue new aftermarket sales opportunities through targeted outreach to existing, lapsed, and prospective customers
- Increase customer engagement with the Shop Vestas platform by promoting self-service ordering and exclusive online offers
- Consistently identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during quoting, order creation, and customer interactions
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to improve sales positioning
Quoting & Order Creation
- Prepare accurate and effective quotes and create orders directly in Salesforce for both transactional and spare parts sales
- Apply correct customer‑specific terms, pricing, discounts, freight, and payment structures
- Recommend alternative parts or bundled service packages when original components are unavailable
- Ensure rapid quote‑to‑order conversion to meet customer turnaround expectations
Customer Engagement & Account Management
- Manage customer relationships in Salesforce, ensuring accurate contact, account, and purchase history records
- Onboard and support customers using the Shop Vestas platform to simplify ordering and improve retention
- Clarify technical specifications to ensure correct part selection and service configuration
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and service operations teams to meet customer delivery commitments
Order Fulfillment & Follow‑Up
- Track order status in SAP to confirm delivery dates and resolve any fulfillment delays
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment of parts and services
- Follow up after delivery to confirm satisfaction and secure repeat orders
Sales Growth & Process Improvement
- Develop targeted campaigns to increase Shop Vestas adoption and repeat ordering.
- Provide feedback to improve spare parts sales workflows, online ordering processes, and service bundles.
- Contribute to sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics in Salesforce.
Qualifications:
- Experience in aftermarket or spare parts sales with a focus on growing new business.
- Comfortable using Salesforce for order creation, customer management, and Shop Vestas activity.
- Experience with SAP for tracking orders, checking inventory, and confirming pricing.
- Basic technical understanding of spare parts, service products, and repairs.
- Effective communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

- Experience in the wind industry, renewable energy, or heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics for spare parts.
