As part of the North and Central Europe (NCE) region, our HSE team provides key support to the O&M department within Cluster 3. We collaborate closely with operational teams across 11 offshore wind farms in Belgium and the Netherlands, ensuring high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and risk management. In this dynamic offshore environment, our team plays a vital role in fostering a strong safety culture and enabling safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Support offshore service operations in driving safety awareness and a positive safety culture
- Deliver HSE campaigns, training, and implement the annual action plan
- Maintain and update HSE documentation, including risk assessments and toolbox talks
- Participate in toolbox talks, inspections, and HSE meetings
- Ensure compliance with HSE processes and customer requirements
- Manage HSE reporting, including hazards, near misses, and incidents
- Support investigations and advise teams on preventive and corrective actions
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in an HSE role within the wind or energy sector (or similar industry)
- Good understanding of HSE policies, processes, and incident management (reporting, registration, investigation)
- Experience creating and reviewing HSE documentation, such as risk assessments and toolbox talks
- Familiarity with maintaining compliance and safety standards in operational environments
- Solid attention to detail and structured approach to documentation and processes
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage

- Act as an HSE role model, demonstrating safe behaviours and a transparent, team oriented approach
- Coach and support teams to build a strong safety culture, rather than simply enforcing rules
- Effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks while taking ownership and accountability
- Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Structured and organised way of working
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with local stakeholders
- Remain calm and composed in emergency or high pressure situations
- Proactive attitude towards learning and continuous development

Additional information
Primary work location: Oostende, Belgium
This position requires approximately 10 days of global travel per year.
You will be required to work offshore for approximately 24 days per year, typically departing at 6:00 AM and returning at 6:00 PM.
