Purpose and reason for the existence of the job

Vestas Wind Systems is a global Wind Turbine manufacturer with over 100 GW of installed Wind Turbines across 79 countries. Vestas sells, constructs and services Wind Turbines around the world. Globally Vestas employs around 29.000 employees.

Vestas Benelux is a local Sales Business Unit (SBU) with its main office in Arnhem. The SBU sells, constructs and services wind Turbines in the Netherlands, Belgium, Aruba & Curacao. The Benelux organization employs approximately 150 employees in the Benelux

As a dispatcher, you will be a part of a global Capacity & Master Planning team supporting offshore sites across the globe.

Region NCE & Global Offshore > Global Offshore > Capacity & Master Planning

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion.
• Prepare, level out & assign works for the territory & tasks of responsibility, to deliver best match for needs and potential. (i.e. weather conditions & skills)
• Define resources needed for service orders in collaboration with the Supervisors, e.g. competencies, materials, and tools.
• Bundle and optimise work order composition
• Daily communication with technicians, technical support functions, and customers.
• Continuous improvement, including active search for areas for improvement, as well as a strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with technical planning or a dispatcher role, obtained in a technical environment.
• Good IT skills. Worked with SAP • Collaborates well

• General understanding of WTG technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation
• Good communication skills both oral and in writing.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to daily tasks.
• Ability to think clearly in a time-sensitive setting, as well as the ability to handle varying workloads and tasks.
• Thrives in an environment with many balls in the air and seasonal workloads, where we as a team help each other get the work done
