Skilled Worker / Semi-Skilled Worker | Full-Time | Field Operations

Vestas is the largest renewable energy solutions provider in the World.  Vestas NCE is responsible for sales, construction, and servicing of wind projects in Benelux and other European Markets. Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

 

Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > Borssele 

 

Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within the Netherlands and Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.


Responsibilities

  • General support to the supervisor 
  • Electrical and mechanical operations 
  • Maintaining and upgrading installation activities 
  • Plan service tasks on a daily basis 
  • Approve hours of technicians 
  • Plan statutory task with the customer 
  • Technical support for troubleshooting in turbines

 

Qualifications

  • Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/universtity 
  • Professional experience (electrical and/or mechanical) and preferably offshore 
  • High voltage knowledge and/or switching experience is a advantage 
  • Fluent English skills 
  • Good knowledge of MS office 
  • Driving license category B

  • Comfortable with working at heights and offshore 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • High level of safety awareness 
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Good organizational & time management skills 
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and training when required
