Service Sales works with multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.

The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Organize & Plan daily operations at the offshore wind Farm
  • Ensure delivery and execution of planned activities
  • Create Daily Transfer plan.
  • Morning Brief and Tool box talks.
  • Coordination of sub-contractors on a daily basis
  • Take lead in solving quality and technical issues
  • Complete Daily reports.
  • Complete shadow data.
  • Turbine restarts.
  • Review power BI and other analysis tools.
  • Daily technical meetings.
  • Creation of reports.
  • Tasks- Creation of work orders, approval of hours or monitoring of PPI's. Daily cooperation with on-site warehousing.
  • Organize shift rotations and shift change/crew change.
  • SOV/CTV daily plans and locations.
  • Monitoring of weather forecast and sail.
  • Turbine visits.
  • Inductions.
  • Ensure documentation is correctly stored on SharePoint and Customer Portal.
  • Monitor CMS.

 

Qualifications

  • Technical & Leadership Education/ Degree (e.g. Bachelor Degree or similar)
  • IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook & data processing and Powerpoint.
  • Full and clean driving license.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience (min. 3 years)
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
  • Offshore experience.
  • Experienced in using ERP system (SAP)
  • preferable GWO trained

  • Ability to deliver plans and delegate tasks effectively to technicians in a professional manner.
  • Flexible to constantly changing environment
  • Technical expertise on turbine platform.
  • Ability to select correct documentation for turbine tasks (WTSR/HV Rules)
