Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia, UK, Ireland) CENTRAL (Germany and Benelux) and EAST (Poland and Baltics countries, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic). Our responsibilities include Sales, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions. We are looking for a dedicated Travel Team Supervisor to ensure performance and leading the crews of Travel Technicians (which are travelling 100% of the time to various sites in NCE region), in a compliance with Vestas safety standards and processes. As a Supervisor you need to ensure your team is qualified and possess relevant and valid certifications and training, so that the competencies can be used on site in the most effective way. As a Supervisor, you also need to understand the issues of your team, but you will be also appointed to cooperate with the NCE Regions/Sub-Region.

Responsibilities

• Remote Team Leadership, effectively lead and supervise a remote team of 50 employees, including Lead Technicians and Service Technicians
• Responsible for recruitment and building capacity. People skills development, competencies and training actions are managed including those related to safety. Motivating employees, and ensuring a healthy work-life balance
• Delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, safety standards and performance ensured
• Compliance with Vestas standards across the dedicated site, processes and procedures regional laws and regulations
• Ensure task execution in compliance with procedures, department guidelines and Vestas standards
• Continuous improvements, efficiency, and quality, Identify and improve
• Convert department knowledge into specific actions, optimization of domain expertise based on lesson learne

Qualifications

• University degree or a master's degree in mechanic, electric or electromechanics 
• Experience in a similar leadership role with a proven ability to develop teams and organizational results, also with remote leadership - will be beneficial
• Very good English, both written and verbally
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft and IT in general. If you have been part of implementing new IT Systems, this would be beneficial
• System user of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce
