With our long-standing excellent track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we manage our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbine while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.
Region APC > Service APAC > Akita Noshiro offshore technician
Responsibilities:
- Compliance with Vestas Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
- Perform Electrical and Mechanical service operations
- Maintaining and upgrading installation activities
- Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
- Responsible for a frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
- Creating follow-up orders
- Registration of time and material consumption the company ERP system
Qualifications:
- Qualifications Required Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
- Electrical/ mechanical education i.e. HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, NVQ L4, C&G full technological certificate/diploma, or other relevant education/ experience in the field of electrical engineering
- Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings
Competencies:
- Competencies Required High level of Safety awareness
- Professional experience (electrical or mechanical) and preferably offshore and/or with high voltage (preferably gained over a 2 year period)
- A team player able to integrate in to offshore life
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required
- Self-starter, Flexible, dependable, technically capable
- Valid driving license for Japan (prefered)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- English skills in reading / writing (or willingness to try an international environment)

Primary work location: Akita Noshiro (Akita) for 7 days on and 7 days off.
