The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth. The Energy Control Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the Electrical Safety/Control of Hazardous Energy program in Poland and Baltics. Reporting to the Electrical Safety Lead for Poland and Baltics, the candidate will work closely with Line Management and technicians in both countries. The Energy Control Coordinator is a skilled electrical person, with work experience that enable them to analyze risks and to avoid hazardous in a wind turbine,

 

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact to person in control of a work activity on site, with competences to give professional directives regarding Hazardous Energy
  • Responsible for verifying the work permit documentation, both of Vestas employees and of external service suppliers
  • Support function for technical planner and scheduler/service planner
  • Responsibility to conduct audits and support the quality inspectors
  • Supporting of technicians with electrical issues and providing Hazardous Energy Control trainings
  • Reviewing and approving Lock Out Tag Out instructions
  • Responsible for preparing and updating the LOTO instruction database

 

Qualifications

  • Electrical background
  • Similar work experience 
  • High level of Safety awareness and act as a role model in safe behavior
  • Good English skills in reading and writing
  • Driving license
  • Knowledge of NEK EN50110-1, FSE and relevant national laws and standards
