Warehouse Group Lead
DK, Nakskov | Full-Time | 12-hour Day Shift
You will be responsible for one of our warehouse areas, where we handle storage, inventory control, material flow, and preparation for shipment. In this role, you will manage approximately 38 employees, primarily blue-collar warehouse workers.
In cooperation with the Warehouse & Transport Manager and fellow Group Leads, you must ensure that operations run safely, efficiently, and according to the delivery plan. You will ensure that your team meets agreed KPIs and follows warehouse processes, including inventory accuracy and timely material handling.
In close collaboration with stakeholders and support functions, you will maintain a safe work environment, ensure compliance with quality standards, and keep warehouse operations smooth and efficient.
Responsibilities:

Ensure safety in your area at all times

Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with quality criteria

Allocate resources and manage workflows according to warehouse requirements

Ensure employees are trained according to the warehouse training development program

Implement and sustain 5S principles in your area, including waste stream management

Ensure correct use of warehouse management systems and related software/hardware

Motivate and lead your team to achieve operational goals
Qualifications:
-
Proficient communication skills in Danish and English (written and oral)

Ability to motivate and coach your team toward agreed KPIs
-
Understanding of safety and quality processes and reporting
-
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a matrix organization

Good development and improvement skills to identify and implement new processes

Attention to detail while maintaining an overview of operations

Adaptability to changing situations and an innovative, open-minded approach
Competences:

Consistent and thrives in a fast-moving organization

People- and process-oriented, with a structured work style

Comfortable working across different cultures

Solid experience in warehouse management or similar operational environments

Knowledge of Six Sigma and experience with 5S principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP experience
