Global PEX, NAC focuses on supporting and driving the lean transformation across the Nacelles value stream. This is done in close collaboration with the Lean Logistics workstream, emphasizing on process stabilization and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to implement the global Operational Excellence agenda in collaboration with factory peers, ensuring alignment and consistency across all manufacturing sites. This will be accomplished by defining, implementing, and sustaining standardized processes that enhance safety, quality, efficiency (cost), and scalability. The role will leverage the Operational Lean Handbook as the foundation for best practices and apply the Gemba Leadership Model to embed a culture of engaged leadership, problem-solving at the source, and continuous improvement.

In addition, the role is responsible for embedding a structured approach to operational excellence by promoting standardization as a core principle. This includes ensuring that processes are consistently applied, continuously improved, and fully integrated into daily operations to deliver long-term stability and performance across the global network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement & Lean Projects

Support factories in embedding and sustaining the standard Lean operating model. Drive cost reduction initiatives through process standardization, Standard Work, and operational excellence practices, including the implementation of Daily Management, Andon, 5S, and Heijunka systems.

  • Change Management & Training

Develop training materials and conduct workshops to support adoption of Lean principles through the Gemba Leadership Model. Facilitate smooth transitions by communicating effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies.

 

  • Strategic Support

Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enable informed strategic decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor on operational excellence initiatives and performance improvement opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
  • Solid experience and practical skills in operational excellence and Lean implementation
  • Demonstrated skills deploying Lean tools and methodologies incl. Standard Work, Daily Management, Andon, 5S, and Heijunka
  • Experienced project management and stakeholder engagement across functions and geographies
  • Advanced communication, facilitation, and Change management skills
