Would you like to work with complex engineering problems, and do you have a creative approach to the next steps? We are looking for a PE Lead Engineer with a great technical understanding, and someone who take pride in initiating and driving process changes when needed.

 

Vestas Technology & Operations > Nacelles Manufacturing > Nacelle
Production Basis - Nacelles is part of the PE Nacelles organization. Production Basis is having the end-to-end responsibility for ensuring operational process readiness by verifying and maturing production documentation through prototype builds.

 

Responsibilities
Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature but will keep it focus on the below items:

  • Subject matter expert in NPI/TT/LC projects delivering tasks and activities at the agreed time, including frontline support in Prototype builds
  • Develop production processes and maturing these during Prototype builds. 
  • Creation of PFMEA and defining process CTQs
  • Secure DfM input in the design process

 
Qualifications

  • An engineering degree within Marine, electrical, mechanical, production or other relevant area combined with some years’ experience within either production or other relevant areas
  • High technical understanding
  • Experience within other large corporate organizations
  • Danish language skills are welcomed but are not required. Vestas is a multi-cultural and global company, and international applicants are very welcome
  • Have good communication skills and are fluent in and English (speaking and writing)

  • Have a good understanding of complex organizational setups, to efficiently communicate with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders

  • Have a good technical foundation, and the ability to pick up new knowledge fast
