As a Capacity Planning Professional, you will play an important role in the Service organization ensuring that we have the optimized workforce available when needed to our services execution, for that you will need to engage with different stakeholders regionally and globally with the aim to have the best levelling of resources, including Vestas technicians and subcontractors.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for Capacity Planning Framework & Governance process in the SBU, aligned with global guidelines
  • Capacity Planner is responsible for balancing capacity between Sub-regions or SBU and ensuring handshake between sub-region and SBU (mobility support)
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the SBU and develop new templates and recommend new systems and tools as applicable, also monitoring performance and looking for continuous improvement possibilities
  • Process responsible for input to capacity planning from stakeholders: T&M, Construction and CIM
  • Annual capacity plans/budgets are prepared and maintained for the whole SBU
  • Regular information exchange with Sub-regions and key stakeholders to continuously improve the capacity situation
  • Mentoring and coaching of Regional Master Schedulers. Close cooperation and dialog with Master Scheduler.
  • Connection to LEAN (CPP/DTR) impact on capacity planning.
  • Regular reporting to management on budget vs. Forecast Bring supply scenarios to management decision in Q review
  • Expand Capacity Planning scope

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technical service environment with focus on Planning especially in industrial or construction industry
  • Technical background or equivalent education
  • English communications skills (verbal, advanced listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
  • Spanish communications skills

 

 

Competencies:

  • Good IT skills and experience with information processing in databases and planning tools
  • Analysis and detailed working approach
  • Self-organization and good time management
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills on Management level
  • Experience in participating of global improvement projects

 

Location: São Paulo or Natal
