Cost control team was created to monitor and manage the costs associated with the day-to-day operations and handle the recurrent maintenance of the Planned Costs, in compliance with Financial Guidelines. The main objective is to optimize the use of financial resources to maximize profitability and ensure long-term financial sustainability of the Service Organization.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Approve compliance and propose reviews.
- Involve Operations team in the reviews.
- Support and document changes RCA in the Backlog Health tool and any other repository designated for this purpose.
- Responsible for defining a calendar so all projects are regularly reviewed.
- Responsible for predefined Planned Costs Updates:
- Support on Indexation on Revenue.
- Support on Contract extension.
- Support on CM% Adjustment
- Responsible for ensuring the short-term backlog includes the major components already scheduled.
- Coordination of WIP provisions between Operations and Finance for transactional sales.
- In charge for ensuring no unfinished project has consumed 100% of the Planned Costs.
- Control and monitor the execution of the Planned Costs Updates within the subregions
Qualifications and competencies
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance, Control & Accounting roles. Ideally with a solid understanding of long-term projects or PM experience with performance management concepts.
- Combined with a significant experience (up to 4 years) in operations, finance department or performance management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (diploma etc.) in Corporate Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related analytical field.
- English proficiency, written and spoken.
- Strategical mindset with solid stakeholder management skills.
- Strong skills in business understanding and information / data analysis
- Good understanding of the wind industry or similar industries.
- Experience with PPI, data analysis and insights delivery.
- Good knowledge on Power BI tool and programming (any language).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (specially Excel)
