Construction & Operations APAC > Construction AUNZ
As an Assistant Project Manager you will assist in the management and commercial growth of our various Wind Turbine projects. You will help in the project execution activities form the time the contracts are secured to full operation of the project site and handover to service. You will work and liaise with the project managers, contracts , logistics, engineering , construction site management team and also other support functions during the project execution.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to HSE implementation to ensure injury and incident free safety culture at the project site.
• Assist in development and execution of all contracts related to Civil, Electrical, crane and installation works.
• Assist project manager in tracking delivery of key components and associated processes and in preparation of monthly reports for internal and external purposes.
• Liaise with site teem at regular interval to ensure smooth and efficient execution
• Assist Project manager in completing the project in stipulated time and budget also assist in submission of key deliverables to customer also help reviewing of progress claims from contractors and vendors
• Keep record of all contractual matters and assist Project Manager in technical and commercial reviews
• Track customer deliverables and is responsible for ensuring information is timely and accurate
• Coordinate contractors and vendors

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
Competencies:
• Minimum 2 years (wind industry or renewable industry experience will be an added advantage but not essential).
• Commercial insight and understanding of financial impacts of decisions with respect to large project budgets.
• Proven performance in working in teams and achieving results.
• Demonstrated ability to set and coordinate budgets and resources.
• Ability to build good customer relationships and effectively negotiate with customers to resolve disputes and promote win-win solutions.
• Solid communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
• Experience in Contract & Claim management, risk management, negotiations, stakeholder management
