Finance > Regional MED > BP Service and Greece Sales

Within the Finance function the Business Performance Management team is responsible for the Budgeting and Controlling of Sales, Construction and Service activities in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with the Vestas Financial Guidelines and with the statutory regulations

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and the accountability in the pre-calculations, reducing the deviations between pre-calculations and the post-calculations
  • Perform the controlling of the Sales activity in compliance with the sales approval process and rules Project Controlling, conducting the monthly project review with the project managers, following the margins and cash flows and insuring the gap analysis and budgetary controls
  • Ensure the highest data quality in the systems to maintain high level of reliability and accuracy in budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate the month-end closing tasks for the Construction line of business, in connection with the Reporting and Compliance team, to ensure timely and accurate closure of financial statements to headquarter
  • Support the monthly internal reporting, including all associated processes and controls
  • Participate to the relevant budgeting, controlling and finance processes in accordance with the Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and make sure that controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place.
  • Support the external and internal audit process

 

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude.
  • 3 - 5 years' professional experience within a finance department, especially within an international company.
  • Good knowledge about accounting, controlling, budgeting.
  • Good skills in Excel, PPT, Windows Office tools.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Fluent English.
  • Knowledge of Information System SAP/BI and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in team but also independently on tight deadlines
