Vestas North and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work. 
The Service department in Sweden is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of the wind turbines within the Nordic countries. The department is a busy area with a lot of exciting things happening. In order to be effective, we need excellent Planners who can handle changing situations with a confident and structured approach.



Located at our Malmö office, you will be supervising a group in the Swedish planning team consisting of Service Planners and Technical Planners. Their job is to plan the work for our Service Technicians out on the field. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing the team to meet the requirements of an ever-changing and growing business. You will also play an important part in securing and delivering products and service to meet our customers' expectations. 


Furthermore, your responsibilities will be: 

  • People management of the planning team, including hire and fire
  • People development
  • Ensure team delivers to key criteria and KPIs in Service
  • Ensure your team creates a cost-efficient work plan based on contractual obligations and promises to customers, while applying an optimal use/balancing of resources both local and across Nordic
  • Participate in developing the strategy for Planning and in turn deliver on the set strategy
  • Technical planning is responsible for optimising the overall performance of the turbine
  • Effectively follow up on performance of turbine sites, identify counter measures and initiate corrective actions where necessary



  • Experience with people management
  • Experience of change management, improvement processes such as LEAN and optimisation projects
  • Technical background, from work or university studies 
  • Good at stakeholder management
  • You are experienced in all Microsoft office programs, Excel in particular 
  • Experience with SAP or Sales Force will be an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish

Additional information
Work location is our office in Malmö, Sweden. Travel from time to time may occur.
