The Sales Support & Value Engineering department is responsible for the planning of all proposed and signed projects within Vestas NCE. 


The organisation is set up to handle both local markets and across borders and to have Project Managers and Planners that understand the different requirements and conditions of the different markets and who are capable of working with projects across borders as we are set up as an international department.


Responsibilities
As Team Leader for Project Planning you are organisational responsible for the Project Planning Team, the team’s deliveries and responsibilities, processes, resources, functions and the management of the daily tasks within the team.

 

The Project Planners provide planning and scheduling support within Primavera to the project management teams around NCE, providing programmes and support during the sales phase, with analysis and recommendations for potential issues during execution. 

 

This group team supports site construction activities within NCE, resource planning for both internally, logistics and subcontractors. 

 

This role involves reporting and management of the NCE project portfolio, following up on project performance from the project planners directly. 

 

Other responsibilities are cash and contract management incorporated into Primavera, project portfolio management and supply chain.

 

This role is expected to manage the team but also be able to work as a project planner when needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Extensive background in project planning, from a similar technical industry would be an advantage – from engineering, construction or operations for example
  • You will ideally hold an Engineering degree or equivalent having an analytical and logical approach
  • Experience with large scale projects on an international scale
  • Knowledge of Primavera is preferable. 
  • Leadership experience and skills with people management, ideally you have managed a team before or can show strong examples of people leadership

  • Ready for change and be adaptable in a constantly changing company
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels and to build good relationships
  • Possess excellent English communication skills in both oral and written form
  • Confident working with a range of stakeholders across a large international region

Additional information
Primary work location: Malmö, Sweden.


As part of this team will be located in Szczecin, Poland then you will be expected to travel there for short periods of time initially for this position.
