As our new Sales Manager you will be part of our Business unit in North & Central Europe responsible for Sales, Project installation and Service of wind farms throughout the region. The sales department is the harbour for all sales activities around wind turbines in North and West Europe, specifically targeted Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, UK, Ireland and parts of the Baltics. 
In the role as our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a mobilising, project managing and coaching a cross-functional project team. Your focus will be the commercial ownership, pursuing new opportunities by servicing existing or securing new customers, while being main responsible for internal project kick offs, tendering and the closure of new contracts at favorable commercial terms.
You will be part of a multicultural team that takes pride in its open-minded and collaborative culture. Together you are responsible for handling some of the largest and most complex wind turbine projects in both mature and emerging markets in Northern West Europe. 

  • Strategic sales management - build and grow sales pipeline and establish key connections externally to customers and investors
  • Close dialogue with customers to ensure good understanding of customer’s project, the business case and customer satisfaction 
  • Gathering knowledge such as competitor activity, support systems for wind energy and customers international activities
  • Coordinate tenders and negotiations – ensuring closing on contracts within targets for revenue and margins 
  • Project and coordinate the sales process throughout the bidding process, ensuring timely passage through the stages of the sales process
  • Mobilise, coach, and supervise the extended sales team consisting of core internal functions
  • Develop, organise and implement the sales strategy and capture plan for each account or transaction 


  • Motivation and willingness to go the "extra mile" to achieve the best result
  • 3-5 years of experience as Sales Specialist or Sales Project Manager from the wind energy or other engineering industry, however investment banking or consulting experiences will also be considered
  • Good understanding a corporate matrix structure
  • Experience in translating business needs into an achievable sales strategy
  • Solid educational background within a relevant business, engineering, or finance degree at Master level, supplemented ideally by an MBA from an esteemed university

  • Solid strategic capabilities with deep commercial understanding and deal-making capabilities
  • Good collaborator – willing to learn and develop, but still attain high integrity and credibility
  • Able to remain professionally and keep a motivated mindset when needed 
  • Culture affinity and a great portion of empathy
  • Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial e.g. Nordic language

The primary work location for this role is Copenhagen/Malmö region. Relocation / Visa sponsorship can be offered for the right candidate
