Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > ECC 
Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a sales business unit responsible for sales project, installation, and service of wind farms throughout the NCE regions. The Energy Control Coordinator team is part of the Service Department in Sweden, and they act as the role models for energy safety work. We are now looking to reinforce our team with a Team Leader for the ECC group. The role is responsible for supervising the performance and for carrying out the company strategy for the ECC group. Preparing for the future, ensuring performance and a professional mindset in the team today will be required to meet your goals in this role. You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities
The role will be the First point of contact and direct manager for the ECC group, with competence to give professional directive. The aim of the role is to carry out the company strategy by setting operational goals for the ECCs under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize safety, quality and cost.

Further, the main responsibilities are:

  • Supervising and building a motivated and skilled team of Energy Control Coordinators in close collaboration with the ESL and the Area Supervisors in Sweden
  • Coordinating both operational and management aspects for implementing the company’s ECC Policy
  • Analysis of operational, safety and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements 
  • Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally and ensuring effective communication in the organization while supporting international ESL´s and ECC´s
  • Be a professional (yrkesman) under the ESL (Behörig Installatör) in relation to work performed in the electrical parts of the Wind Turbines as well as being the Nominated Operation Controller and ESL back-to-back (Eldriftledare)
  • Assist the ECCs in supporting Service organization and technicians in the field with questions related to Electrical Safety and LOTO
  • Participate in Investigating any accidents and incidents and improve technical solutions and safety, and conduct regular audits, inspections and reviews as required by the BU’s Electrical Safety Program
  • Above includes both Service sites and Construction sites where the tasks performed are according to guidelines from the Electrical safety Lead. 

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated people management experience in an operational environment
  • Educational background within electrical or technical field
  • Experience of change management, performance management and direct improvements through defining effective business cases
  • Solid experience with having had own economic responsibility
  • You should be thoroughly familiar with Microsoft Office packages
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • National Electrical Authorization is a merit

Additional information
This is a new role in the organization and additional tasks might be added in alignment with company needs. Work location is flexible and can be based out of one of our local warehouses around Sweden. When conducting trainings and/or support for colleagues you will be targeting the whole of Sweden and regular traveling is to be expected.
