Service Sweden South is responsible for the execution of all work on wind turbines placed in south part of Sweden. We plan the work in the turbines and makes sure it is performed for the needs of the customer and the service contract.

 

Responsibilities
As a Senior Team Lead in South Sweden, you are responsible for supervising the performance for your area. Coordinating both operational and management aspects cross-functionally to improve both customer and employee experience is expected. Preparing for the future as well as ensuring performance and a professional mindset in the team today is required for achieving your goals in this role.

You will be responsible for carrying out the company strategy in the Sweden South Area and making sure that technicians and Team Leads follows the Strategy. You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve on safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with solid managerial skills.

 

  • Execution of the strategy by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize on safety, quality and cost
  • Supervising and building a motivated and productive team of Team Leaders in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Team in North Sweden
  • Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
  • Seeking ways to improve collaboration cross functionally
  • Ensuring effective communication in the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Several years of proven people management experience
  • Educational background within business or technical field
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Proven experience with having had own economical responsibility
  • Experience in directing improvements through defining effective business cases
  • Ability to convert strategic targets received into operational brilliance and leadership requirements for your Team Leads
  • Comfortable with direction and expectation setting within Vestas quality, safety and cost goal as well as maintaining standards

Additional information
The location of this position is in Malmö. Travelling about 30% per year is to be expected. During the first period you will be introduced by your colleague in North Sweden and the Area Manager.
