Vestas is looking for a Forecasting Business Controller for a Maternity Cover
Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Commercial Operations
Commercial Operations is a small yet important stakeholder in forecasting our sales volumes and sales activities. We maintain the sales process, customer relations management system for the entire region. We own the governance of the sales pipeline progressing towards closures and run weekly meetings where sales projects are reviewed and management is informed on the progress, forecasts and focus areas.
We consistently monitor and work to improve CRM data quality and take pride in maintaining top-quality CRM standards across Vestas.
We have a one year maternity leave position starting asap. As member in our team you will be contributing to Commercial Operations in all areas, with a special emphasis on the Forecasting and the development to make it integrated in daily or regular operations. We forecast on Month, Quarter, Year, 3 year and 5 year horizons via collaboration with the sales areas. With your help we will improve our forecasting processes and by that the quality and accuracy from good to consistently high on all horizons.
Responsibilities
- Improve and develop forecasting process, 1 month to 5 years horizon as well as do the forecast reporting for the region
- Monitor and track forecasting accuracy on short term as well as medium term, and contribute to improvement of the same. Also answer to questions on forecast, ie what we believe we will make by end of month, quarter, year etc.
And as team member contribute to:
- Maintain and improve the sales process and tools
- Monitor and pursue system data quality, and contribute to improvement of the same
- Prepare Gate governance meetings (internal steps of maturing a project)
- CRM contact - the one to turn to when issues or questions on our CRM system (SAP Cloud for Customer and soon Salesforce)
- Train new employees on the CRM platform
Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, business, economics or similar
- Relevant work experience from sales or commercial positions is beneficial
- Forecasting experience
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- CRM familiar

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Malmö, Sweden.
You could expect some travel activity, approximately 5 days per year.
