SBU NCE > WTG Sales Management & KAM > Commercial Operations

 

Commercial Operations is a small yet important stakeholder in forecasting our sales volumes and sales activities. We maintain the sales process, customer relations
management system for the entire region. We own the governance of the sales pipeline and run weekly meetings where sales projects are reviewed and management is informed on the progress, forecasts and focus areas. We actively monitor and work to improve CRM data quality and take pride in being the best in class in Vestas.

In 2023 we look to increase focus on all areas in order to improve existing tools and processes as well as adding new dittos preparing ourselves for the future, in which we will continue to grow fast. You will be strengthening Commercial Operations in all areas, with a special emphasis on the internal sales gate governance including sales project reviews. Your main role will be to facilitate and review meetings and approval flows, improve and develop the platform on which we document and communicate the governance and be the anchor of structure within a collaborative, simple and passionate framework.

 

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Prepare Gate governance meetings (internal steps of maturing a project)

  • Collaborate with global sales office and other sales business units on the governance application in Salesforce

  • Maintain our end of the governance platform such as approval matrix etc.

  • Monitor and pursue system data quality, track forecasting accuracy on short term as well as medium term, and contribute to improvements

  • Visualization of data to efficiently convey insights and facts

  • CRM ambassador - the one to turn to when issues or questions on our CRM system (SAP Cloud for Customer and soon Salesforce).

  • Update and improve the sales process and tools

  • Educate and coach the sales force in the sales process and train new employees and users on the CRM platform and the sales project planning platform (Smartsheet)

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering, business, economics or similar

  • Relevant work experience from sales or commercial positions is beneficial.

  • Fluency in written and verbal English.

  • Great Excel skills

  • CRM system experience

  • Sales Process ownership experience

  • You have good networking and communication skills are and are natually organised

  • Service-minded and professional when working with customers and stakeholders.

  • You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your assignments.

  • Good IT skills (Excel incl VBA and Analysis, SAP Project Builder, Salesforce, Sharepoint with Power Automate)

Additional information

The position can be located at Vestas' office in Malmö Svågertorp or Hamburg, Germany. Travel may be required occasionally across Northern and Central Europe.
