Are you committed to health, safety, and the environment? At Vestas, we are in search of an HSE Manager who aspires to enhance safety and sustainability in a factory setting.

You will be the person in charge of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) in the factory, guiding and supporting the implementation of safe and sustainable practices, managing changes, new product introductions, and legal compliance in the factory.

 

Your Responsibilities

  1. Create local HSE documentation (risk assessments, emergency response plans, customer-specific procedures, etc.).
  2. Oversee contractors/subcontractors (including mobilization/demobilization, post-work assessments, and audits).
  3. Deliver basic safety training as per local legal requirements and define training needs.
  4. Support Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigations and root cause analysis.
  5. Conduct site inspections and safety walks.
  6. Contribute to the development of a "Zero Incident Culture".
  7. Provide support on QSE (Quality, Safety & Environment) matters at the country level.
  8. Participate in tender processes (prepare QSE documentation, review contracts from an HSE perspective).
  9. Assist with organizational and administrative team tasks.
  10. Perform and follow up on internal audits at both local and regional levels (SU/SBU).
  11. Develop and help implement procedures and consultation processes.

What We’re Looking For

  1. University degree in HSE or a related field.
  2. High level of English (spoken and written).
  3. Knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation.
  4. Around 5 years of experience in similar roles
