Join our dynamic Global Supply Chain Quality team as a Regional Transport Quality Lead, where you will play a central role in enhancing the quality of transportation processes across the two regions Noth & Central Europe and Mediterranean. As a key partner to the Regional Supply Chain, you will resolve transportation-related quality issues, and conducting quality improvement projects, reducing the cost of poor quality. This position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative global environment, contributing to the development of core products essential to our customers and the global transition to renewable energy. You will be located in Vestas office in Madrid, Spain.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deploy standardized quality control procedures for outbound transportation processes.
  • Investigate and resolve transportation-related quality issues and non-conformance incidents in close collaboration with regional supply chain and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct or participate in quality improvement projects including on site activities.
  • Deep dive into transport data to monitor and present transportation performance.
  • Operational audits & inspections at harbor, ships, trains etc.
  • Enhance regional quality performance.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with transportation logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Advanced skillful problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective in engaging and understanding how to involve stakeholders across the organization.
  • Show a high degree of interest for operational Supply Chain.

 

Competencies

  • Attention to details and ability to identify potential quality issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting using relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to learn new technologies.
