Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best in class Procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development.

 Responsibilities

• Collaborate on definition and deployment of the strategy
• Drive the standardization of processes within the department
• Creating standard tools
• Drive the implementation of the sustainability strategy in Construction Procurement
• Manage tender processes, bid development and sub-contract negotiations
• Develop supplier portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred within the field of engineering.
• At least 5 year experience in subcontracting and purchasing mechanical and electrical works. Wind sector is preferred, but O&G and Infrastructure is valid.
• Construction project management experience is valued.
• Analytical and negotiation skills
• Experience in project based purchasing and pre-contract bid management, category management and Supplier Relationship Management
• Fluent English is mandatory. Additional languages will be valued

You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to understand business requirements and to ensure a sustainable, scalable, and high performing supply base. In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of a global portfolio of onshore and offshore wind infrastructure projects.
