Sales Engineer- Wind Energy - Madrid

Are you an engineer interested in sales? Do you like the wind energy sector?
The Service Sales and Account Management department is a part of our Service Business Unit in Iberia (Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde) and is responsible for servicing all aftermarket customers with Operation and Maintenance services for the wind turbines and wind farms. Our key role within the organization is to ensure sustainable growth of the Service department.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers; leveraging the relationship to ensure revenue growth for the company.
- Enlarge the service offerings commitments of assigned customers.
- Create and identify new business opportunities for the Service organization.
- Analyze the Spanish and Portuguese markets, identifying new needs and engaging internal Service departments to constantly update our service portfolio offering.
- Elaborate and provide to customer the requested quotations for different services, coordinating internally the different departments involved.
- Coordinate and elaborate tender responses.
- Prepare strategic account reports, records, and track information from customers for internal analysis to prepare negotiation plans.
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Commercial/sales management skills and a high level of wind energy market knowledge are qualities you possess.
- Highly motivated and possess proficient customer-service skills.
- Great negotiation skills
- About 4 years of experience on technical sales on industrial environments, with experience in selling services and products.
Competencies
- Good understanding of business processes improvements.
- Skilled IT user, including Microsoft Office and advanced use of Excel.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal cooperation skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
