The COO Finance department is the financial business partner to the COO area, covering Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transport, Procurement and HSE. The position focuses on enhancing the performance across the COO area within the region.

Responsibilities:

Solid financial anchor in the region towards Global Finance functions and Regional Business Functions
•    Support strategy development and execution within the business functions.
•    Business Partner for COO business functions, acting as finance specialist on finance and performance related topics.
•    Drive coordination and secure alignment on performance related topics between global and regional Supply Chain, Transport, Procurement and Group Finance functions.
•    Conducting role in departmental management meetings within the COO departments when beneficial.
•    Act as a gatekeeper of risk in relation to COO business activities.
Controlling, consolidation and reporting
•    Ensure transparency and control in performance reporting within business functions, while supporting updates for business performance reviews. 
•    Provide support for annual budget, monthly closings and forecasts.
•    Follow-up on KPIs for each department.
•    Root cause analysis validation and cost development overview in close collaboration with Transport delivery managers and Global Finance. 
•    Deep-dive analysis to enable cost-out initiatives and bring learnings for the future projects.
•    Ad hoc support with regards to business cases creation, manufacturing controlling activities and cost disputes.
•    Support on the internal and external audits when required.

 

Qualifications:

•    University degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience in project cost controlling or manufacturing controlling, financial analysis and business performance management. Forwarding industry or OEM's manufacturer is a benefit. 
•    Solid systems skills including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint), favorably including hands-on experience in SAP BI (Business Warehouse) and SAP BO (Business Objects). Preferred experience in using data visualization tools (Power BI, SAC). 
•    Great communication skills with fluency in English is required.
