As Construction Quality Lead of the MED Construction Quality department, you will be part of a Quality Team that plan and support the quality management and assurance activities in Construction to achieve the satisfaction of our customers, the business, and stakeholders ensuring that quality requirements are fulfilled trough the value chain applying the respective Standards, Business processes, Instructions and Project Quality Plans (PQP).

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Strengthen Quality Assurance in Construction Activities
  • Emphasize a safety-first approach.
  • Follow up on global quality strategic priorities and adapt them to regional needs.
  • Ensure compliance with VESTAS Quality Standards and Business Processes during installation.
  • Provide guidance and support for Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management in the construction region.
  • Assist in implementing improvement actions to reduce Costs of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and non-conformities (NCR) KPIs.
  • Ensure the implementation of Quality Plans (PQP) and customized Quality Control Plans for customer contracts according to the Vestas Management System.
  • Train and support Vestas employees and subcontractors on quality activities as required by the Manager.
  • Aid the business in root cause analysis and the execution of corrective or preventive actions.

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in Construction, Quality Assurance on-site supervision.
  • Preferred qualification as a Lead Assessor/Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Fluent proficiency in English.
