Finance / Regional MED / Reporting & Compliance

 

The Analyst will, together with the Reporting & Compliance team, develop the local finance processes and ensure a timely and efficient closing process that complies with Vestas' financial guidelines. The team works closely with our various stakeholders; the local business, Group Reporting, Group IFRS team, and Global Finance Shared Service Center to achieve accuracy and compliance in our financial processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Compliance Manager with the financial closing/operational daily processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, monitor the financial statements, and investigate any financial issues for the MED legal entities
  • Develop the financial closing processes and controls
  • Day-to-day interaction with overseas financial shared service center.
  • Ensure focused engagement with various stakeholders securing a smooth closing process and insights into the financials and business drivers.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience from a larger company or from a financial auditing business.
  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Solid accounting and performance reporting insight. Having experience with the IFRS framework is an asset.
  • Proficient user of SAP/BI accounting systems.
  • Experience with finance operational processes, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Accounting to Report and Travel and Expenses.
  • Great Excel capabilities, using the tool efficiently to evaluate large sets of data
