Region MED>MED Service> MED Supply Chain Planning

 

The Service Supply Chain Planning team plays a crucial role within the Service Supply Chain organization, overseeing all supply chain activities across the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa regions. At the heart of the Service Supply Chain Organization lies the planning team, tasked with driving and conducting the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in close collaboration with global and regional stakeholders. This team is responsible for both demand and supply planning for the Service Business, holding full accountability for ensuring an optimal balance between part availability and lean inventories across our 100+ inventory locations.

 

Responsibilities

 

  •  Provide comprehensive leadership, creating a culture of collaboration and innovation within a diverse team spanning multiple countries across the region.
  •  Mentor and develop team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the broader goals.
  •  Provide the monthly forecasting process across the region in close collaboration with the global counterparts.
  •  Constantly optimize the stocking strategy to match the operational and commercial needs.
  •   Deliver on our inventory targets while maintaining the right level of parts availability.
  •   Participate and contribute to the transformation journey of the Service Supply Chain Planning function.
  •   Optimize our Supply Chain footprint to ensure that our 100+ inventory locations are correctly positions and utilized.

 

Qualifications

 

  • University degree in Engineering or BA combined with a substantial previous experience with Service Operations, supply chain, or logistics, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices.
  • Proven experience working within a global Supply Chain Organization, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of developing complex supply chain networks.
  • High stakeholder management skills to effectively navigate and align diverse interests across departments and regions.
  • A robust understanding of the wind industry or similar sectors, providing valuable insights and perspectives crucial to optimizing supply chain activities within the specific industry landscape.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  •  Solid theoretical background and understanding of the mechanic within Supply Chain planning and S&OP processes.
  •  Proven expertise in cross-functional management within a global and matrix organizational structure. Demonstrated ability to navigate and excel in complex organizational environments.
  •  Exceptional capacity to engage and influence multiple stakeholders at many different levels in the organization.
  •  Significant capability to plan and balance multiple short and long-term priorities effectively, ensuring timely execution and delivery 
  •  Demonstrated inquisitive skills, displaying a natural curiosity to explore innovative solutions and challenge the existing, contributing to continuous improvement and forward-thinking initiatives.
  •  A good communicator adept at mobilizing individuals and teams, fostering collaboration and promoting collective action toward shared goals.
