The purpose of the Sales department is to secure long-term sales relationships with Vestas customers, as well as to identify and pursue supply sales opportunities, from initial screening and quotation to successfully negotiating and closing contracts.

The Sales Operations department monitors the effectiveness of sales efforts and ensures that the sales team operates efficiently.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Head of Sales Operations is leading the Sales Operations department. Main responsibilities are:

 

  •  Sales process & governance: Ensure compliance with sales process, coordination and alignment with relevant functions: supply chain, construction and finance
  •  Production planning: Align S&OE and S&OP production planning together with supply chain and construction.
  •  Sales performance: Weekly, monthly, quarterly review performance of the different sales units, tracking deviations, risks and opportunities. 
  •  Sales reporting: High quality reporting for the regional management team .
  •  Demand forecasting accuracy: Long term forecast regular update, with accurate business parameters: order intake, margin, cash revenue. 
  •  Sales budget preparation and presentation to Management team
  •  Data quality: Ensure data quality control and compliance across the region in close collaboration with general managers and sales anchors. Audit data for consistency. 
  •  Data analysis and dashboard development 
  •  Systems: Deployment of Sales Force. SAP & GSR (Global Sales Reporting), development with Group IT and implementation at regional level

 

Qualifications

 

•   Master's degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or any other business-related field

•   Over 8 years' experience in a Sales Operations department of a business in a fast-paced and highly progressive environment

•   Experience working in matrix organizations

•  Valuable but not require knowledge/ experience working with SalesForce system

•   Comprehensive business understanding 

Proven expertise in high-level communication, with experience in delivering presentations to executive leadership teams

•   Stakeholder management, proven ability to interact with management teams, senior sales management, internal stakeholders and customers.

•   Superior analytical skills and ability to interpret complex information and data, translating these findings into actionable deliverables, strategies, targets, messages, and presentations.

•   Comprehensive strategic and thinking skills.

•   Problem solving orientation.

•   Proven and effective experience managing a cross-functional team leading that team to the achievement of sales goals and targets.
