Service ROE MED department belongs to Service MED and it provides the needed support for ensuring the best performance possible of wind turbines in the MED Region.

This position will report to the Documentation and Technical Translation Coordinator in Service ROE MED, who supports the project to ensure availability of technical documentation for the operations in the windfarms in different countries.

Responsibilities

Manage technical documentation created locally in the region and perform the translation of documentation related to wind turbine service procedures and technology, meeting the documentation quality, safety and technical standards.

Functions included, but not limited to:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of new systems and databases for technical documentation monitoring.
  • Management, publication, and follow-up of different local technical document types.
  • Provide linguistic advice and ensure compliance with the internal documentation criteria and guidelines throughout the technical documentation creation procedure.
  • Work closely with the Documentation and Technical Translation Team and Coordinator to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of documentation systems and reports.
  • Participate in the identification of potential deficiencies detected in the technical documentation processes, and implementation of solutions for improvement.
  • Perform direct and inverse translation of documents (ENG-ESP).
  • Occasionally revise, edit and proofread documents translated by an external translation agency.

 

Qualifications

  • University student in Translation and Interpreting, Humanities, or similar field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Advanced knowledge and usage of MS-Office package.
  • Proficient usage of documentation systems and databases.
  • Experience in translation and knowledge of professional translation software systems (desirable, but not mandatory).
  • Document generation experience is an asset.
