Vestas have opened a position for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Lyndhurst.

As the successful candidate for this role, you will join a strong team of detail oriented and passionate people keeping our wind farms around the country stocked with the required parts for scheduled servicing and breakdowns.

 

As a part of your daily duties you will ensure new stock is coming into the warehouse to replace any items being retired without causing service delays out in the field. A keen eye for planning and timing with be essential to succeed in the role.

The Vestas Service Supply chain department is responsible for delivering Spares and Main Components for maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in AUZ.

The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.

This is a full-time salaried position based at our spare parts warehouse in Lyndhurst Victoria.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ordering, purchase requisition creation, and vendor management
  • Incoming goods receiving, using Vestas ERP systems
  • Pick and Pack of warehouse supplies
  • Transport bookings and Coordination
  • Updating site documentation, maintaining the site warehouse and Stocktake management
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, producing reports
  • OH&S compliance and trouble-shoot problems and recommend improvements

 

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a Warehouse Environment
  • Full driving license

 

Competencies

  • IT skills : Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge or ERP systems like SAP
  • Health and safety focused
  • Quality and customer focused professional
  • Good office and site management skills
  • Good time management / planning skills
  • Warehouse experience - for example from the wind or automotive Industry
  • Team player and high process understanding
