Vestas are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Inventory Controller to join a welcoming and collaborative team at our Bangholme warehouse.

 

This is an exciting and ever changing role working in the renewable energy industry. You will take an active part in providing tools and safety gear to our construction and service sites across Australia and New Zealand.

 

Using your already extensive experience in inventory, you will manage a large portfolio of products ranging from basic tools to unique and highly specialised equipment specifically designed for wind turbines.

This will be a fascinating position for an inquisitive personality with a great opportunity to build relationships internally as well as build strong channels with our external suppliers.

 

Be part of highly dedicated team, who strive to deliver tools to service and construction sites in ASP. As the successful candidate you will be working with a fantastic team locally and abroad throughout the APAC region.
This is a fast paced department and we need to adjust workloads all the time, your flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks will be a great asset to the role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage tool updates and replacements
  • Implement new tools
  • Calculate material needs in the warehouse
  • Conduct forecasting and long-term planning
  • Oversee MRP data governance
  • Work with master data
  • Create purchase orders for repair and calibration
  • Buy spare parts for installation tools and lifting equipment 
  • Enrich item data
  • Manage safety stock levels

 

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
