Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global PE Blades > Blades Tooling & Operation Support
Global PE Blades is a function within the Global Manufacturing organization. The function is responsible for delivery of our manufacturing production design, including special projects, development of processes and tooling for the blades.
Global Blades PE Tooling and Operational Support is focused on developing and delivering proven production and tooling solutions to our global blades manufacturing sites. Furthermore, we support our internal factories on documentation and processes.
We are currently in the outlook for a Technical Project Manager to fulfil a newly established position, leading our tool development and capacity ramp-up projects. 
Frequent travel activities will be required.
 

Responsibilities

In this role as Technical Project Manager you will Lead the project tooling team. You are the owner, and driver, of the complete manufacturing setup for our newest high-profile products. Tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Resource and CAPEX estimation for Tooling area for NPI and Tech Transfer projects
  • Establish and maintain the full investment budget for the given project you will be heading up
  • Establish open and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, being colleagues within tooling team, global installation, the Manufacturing Project Manager (PM), CAPEX and our suppliers, while establishing good follow up processes and collaboration with tooling suppliers
  • Follow up on timelines, resources and cost and escalate deviations to Manufacturing PM
  • Document and report project status including tooling related risks and issues while ensure timely mitigating actions or escalation to Manufacturing PM as well as Head of Tooling 
  • Execute and ensure development and delivery of tools according to defined processes ending with TOC with suppliers
  • Facilitate Tooling peer reviews and provide input to Project lessons learned

 

Qualifications

  • Solid experience and proven results from a larger manufacturing company
  • Experience in technical project management of developing and delivering larger complex manufacturing equipment
  • Extensive knowledge from Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing
  • We prefer an Engineering degree complemented with some leadership experience from an engineering department function 
  • EU Drivers license
