Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Manufacturing> Manufacturing Readiness  

Manufacturing Readiness team within Global manufacturing quality is structured and organized to ensure that all new products, related processes, and tools are developed safely, with high quality at the right time in accordance with Vesta's way to launch new wind turbines. 

The Manufacturing readiness (NPI quality) department divided into 2 sub departments - MBP Validation & MBP Leads. MBP validation team consist of 7 experienced, multi-cultural engineers responsible for validation of the design, process, and tooling for manufacturing of the wind turbine modules (Blade, Nacelle, Hub, Generators, etc.). Team members are positioned across different manufacturing site locations within Denmark and part of new product development projects representing the voice of the receiving factories by performing real-time validation. Our focus is to secure robustness manufacturing with no probability of defects when introducing new wind turbine 


Your primary responsibility will be to drive the area; lead and develop the team, including 

  • Handle resources and prioritizations in alignment with project managers and stakeholders 
  • Accountable for the quality of team deliverables including manufacturing baseline package (MBP) validation and adherence to the project deadline  
  • People management and leadership including creation of goals and alignment of development areas for your employees 
  • Maintain good liaison with Operational quality & TS leaders across the different NPI factories 
  • Work on the strategic direction of department and develop "line of sight" for the validation area 


You hold a bachelor or master's degree in engineering or similar education. Combined with your educational background, you have +8 years' experience in the field of engineering and team management  

Furthermore, we favor if you have: 

  • Experience from the wind turbine industry or similar relevant 
  • Knowledge on assembly/joining processes, composites, or other manufacturing process 
  • Experience in working with new product development and quality assurance  
  • Hands on experience with application of FMEA’s, control plans, CTQ capability studies and MSA 
  • Systematic problem-solving methodologies like DMAIC, 8D, A3 etc. 
  • Knowledge or certification on APQP4wind, QMS and VDA standard is beneficial

  • Good communication skills in English, orally and written. Proficiency in Danish advantageous but not mandatory.

You must expect up to 35 to 40 days of annual travel activity.
