The Maintenance department at our Component plant in Lem is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Maintenance Engineer. This role is for someone who is motivated by hands-on problem solving close to production, data-driven maintenance and the opportunity to create measurable improvements on advanced manufacturing equipment. You will play a key role in reducing downtime, strengthening reliability and developing the future of maintenance at Vestas.
Responsibilities
- Analyze downtime patterns, MTTR, MTBF and operational data and translate insights into concrete improvement actions
- Reduce equipment-related downtime through structured problem solving, root cause analysis and data-driven decisions
- Drive technical improvements on machines, equipment and maintenance processes together with Production, Process, Quality and global specialists
- Contributes to the development of more proactive, intelligent and data-driven maintenance using AI-supported analytics and predictive maintenance methods
- Ensure that EAM master data, spare parts structures and technical documentation are accurate, useful and compliant
- Engage early in equipment changes, investments or introduction of new equipment to ensure maintainability, safety and reliability are built in from the start
- Work closely with local and global teams on performance, productivity, standards and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Technical background within mechanical, electrical, automation, production technology or a related field
- Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, technical projects or a similar role in an industrial environment
- Interest in Reliability Engineering, TPM, Asset Management, AI or predictive maintenance.
- Experience with EAM, spare parts data, technical documentation or equipment structures is an advantag
- OEM training on key equipment or certification within TPM/Reliability is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently while also creating results through cross-functional collaboration
- Good communication skills in both Danish and English

- Data and analysis: Ability to use data, trends and performance indicators to prioritize the right improvements
- Problem solving: Strong ability to diagnose complex issues and drive robust solutions

- Collaboration: Able to connect Maintenance, Production, Process, Quality, Projects and global specialists
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic production environment with both daily challenges and long-term improvements
- Technology curiosity: Interest in AI, digitalization, Industry 4.0 and the future of maintenance
