Power Solutions > Quality Improvements & Processes > New Product Master
Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Manufacturing Readiness - Blades, as part of New Product Master. We contribute to operational readiness in the introduction of new Blade products, more specifically by verifying the new blades design and maturing the manufacturing documentation for our serial producing factories. You will join a department with 28 colleagues ranging from Verification Leads to Quality Specialists who are based at various sites in Denmark and UK/Isle of Wight.


As a Lead Specialist in Manufacturing Readiness – Blades team you will:

  • Be part of the early phases of Blades NPI projects preparing for business approval
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the team, Manufacturing Readiness – Blades
  • Drive operational and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Blades Module and COO
  • Facilitate departmental and cross-organizational workshops and consolidate output
  • Represent our department in cross organizational meetings like Steercos
  • Track performance and set KPIs for the team



As an ideal candidate you are expected to have/possess a:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree and at least 3-5 years' experience in a large International Organization in the field of engineering
  • Solid business understanding within the areas of new product introduction and value chain understanding (broader scope)
  • Knowledge of Vestas Way to Market (VWtM) or a similar stage gate model
  • Strategic outlook and business-oriented mindset


  • Good Leadership and influencing capabilities within a matrix organization
  • Know how to handle your stakeholders efficiently by building and maintaining relations
  • Motivated and independent but also enjoy being part of an agile and motivated team
  • Good analytic skills combined with a basic technical understanding and solution oriented 
  • You have prior project management knowledge and experience
  • Speak and write English at a high-level competency in additional languages is advantageous
