By joining the team at Pioneer Prairie, MN we are pleased to offer you a sign-on bonus. This bonus is reflecting our commitment to fostering a collaborative and rewarding relationship. This is a one-time payout of $2,500 and will be subject to applicable taxes and withholdings. The details of the sign-on bonus, including the amount and payment schedule will be provided with your offer letter.
If you have Basic Safety Training, Basic Technical Training and Advanced Rescue Training Global Wind Organization (GWO) certifications, we will also offer you an additional $2,500 bonus as a token of your skills and expertise that you bring to Vestas.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this position, you’ll use your skills and training to perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will be provided with defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, verbal/written instructions, but you may provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
During a typical day, you may be working 250 feet above the ground, or working in small spaces to perform maintenance and repairs. You’ll be outside, and sometimes the weather isn’t great. You’ll be climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts to complete your work. Teamwork is a priority here, and our reputation for professionalism, safety and attention to detail are important to our customers. We also encourage recommendations to improve the safety and quality of our work.

✓ You will bring at least a 3-yr technical Associate degree or equivalent and minimum 3yrs advanced technical/trouble shooting wind industry experience
