The Tower Structure Onshore department plays a crucial role in the wind industry by designing innovative and reliable tower structures for both steel and concrete tower technologies. We are a multidisciplinary team made up of professionals from diverse backgrounds, each bringing a unique set of skills and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead and support the cross-functional technical team, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Ensure the technical deliverables of the tower engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality execution in collaboration with procurement and suppliers.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including senior technical leadership, contractors, and the project team, to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, working closely with the team and project managers to escalate issues and provide solutions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DiBT, IEC) and promote sustainable solutions throughout the project.
Qualifications
- 7 years of industry experience in technical leadership roles within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- 5 years of experience in working with global teams and understanding how to adapt to local regulations and cultural differences to ensure smooth project delivery.
- 4 years of experience with stage gate models and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or Jira); awareness of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with tower design and construction, as well as understanding the full lifecycle, including enabling transport, construction, and maintenance.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.
- Proficient in maintaining stakeholder rapport, delivering project updates, and upholding transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Pragmatic decision-making, with a focus on problem-solving through collaboration, and managing trade-offs between technical, time, and budget constraints.
- Adaptability to work across different cultural contexts, understanding the nuances of collaborating with international teams.
