The Platform SW & Internal Tools group is a part of Vestas Power Solutions and we are responsible for delivering all kinds of platform software and internal tools that support the development process and service operations worldwide. As an R&D Developer, you will join the work on new turbine platforms, improvement projects or specific tools projects.



  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of several tools like VestasOnline Toolkit(R) and other networking tools.
  • Be engaged in the early stage feasibility studies of new products
  • Be engaged during the functional and software requirements definition
  • Implementing full software development lifecycle, including code review
  • Write well designed and testable code
  • Be committed in writing and updating comprehensive technical documentation and maintain software functionality
  • Be a good contributor in the continuously improvement of our processes and tools



  • MSc in Computer-science, Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited University
  • +2 years of working experience working with software development
  • Advanced programming skills in C# / .Net
  • Knowledge of common programming patterns and test strategies
  • Proficiency in software development tools
  • Hands-on experience with product or technology development


You should have:

  • Experience with complex desktop applications
  • Experience with NUnit
  • Experience with MVVM
  • Experience with REST APIs


You may have:

  • Experience with WPF
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development
  • Octopus Deploy
  • GIT, JIRA and other Atlassian tools
  • Experience with UX/UI
  • Low level protocol development
  • Micro services architecture
  • Advanced Installer or other installation tool
  • SmartAssembly or other obfuscation tool



  • You are motivated, problem-solving, results-oriented and have a good sense of responsibility
  • You are able to meet your deadlines with good quality output
  • You have a creative approach to new opportunities
  • You achieve your goals as part of a team and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge
  • You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Last, but not least, you will be required to work within an international team

Additional Information

Travel: 20 days (international) per year is to be expected.
