MED Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for managing MED (South Europe, Middle east and Africa) Vestas' spend with external suppliers. With a matrix organization, with global and regional roles, the RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with the same overall targets across all Vestas regions.

You will report to the Head of MED Service & Indirect Procurement, the full team is working cross-functionally and is responsible for managing all Procurement activities related to Service business and Indirect categories.

 

Responsibilities

Support the team on the following activities:

  • Business Service Support
  • Power BI Implementation
  • EBIT and Service cost-out follow-up
  • KPI governance
  • Follow-up on contract coverage for critical categories
  • Spend analysis review and proposal of cost-out initiatives
  • TEAMS organization and making sure all RfQ documentation is uploaded to ensure continuity
  • Support on critical projects when needed

 

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a motivated student interested in renewable energy and willing to learn about procurement.
  • Studies in Supply Chain Management, Business, Law or Engineering (or similar).
  • Highly proficient in English, written and verbally and skills in other languages (French, Spanish, Italian...) are preferred.

  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Having a collaborative spirit and a problem-solving attitude towards the obstacles you will face
  • Structured person with methodical and negotiation skills
  • Cross cultural skills (will work as part of an international team)
  • Team working skills within a Matrix organization
  • Ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments
