Department

This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Global CPX, Logistics, Indirect and Service. The individual selected for the role will be responsible for crafting and implementing the Supplier Quality and Development plans that aim to elevate supplier efficiency for CAPEX and Tools, ensure zero incidents, decrease non-conformity and CoPQ rates, and build a sustainable supply foundation for all ongoing and forthcoming projects.

 

Responsibilities

You will be overall responsible for defining the supplier quality strategy for Tools Suppliers in aliment with TCM Modules, Procurement and business demands.

  • Define and improve process and governance for the supplier qualification, performance management, metrics, and development of the CAPEX tools
  • Secure proper operating model with key stakeholders in the global and regional organization to support the performance management and development initiatives with suppliers
  • Promote a clear quality culture throughout the supply base and ensure relevant QHSE agreements with suppliers are in place
  • Be active contributor in the commodity team and supplier performance management and contribute to supplier selection and decision-making process
  • Use and promote the utilization of the 8D, 5Whys, and other Advance Quality Tools

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Having +3 years of experience in a similar role with supplier management and quality in automotive, oil and gas, manufacturing or tooling
  • Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications will be an added value
  • Green Belt Six Sigma qualification will be an added value

 

Competencies

  • Working knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
  • Great project management skills with the ability to build complex development projects across the organization
  • Competency in data analytics and high problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle non-conformity and good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and able to use key tools e.g. 5 Why, 8D; APQP; PPAP
  • Skills of supporting supplier development and improvement's projects
  • Good communication skills, oral and written, strong meeting facilitator with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, global and cross-functional environment
  • Motivated personality, independent learning and critical thinking skills - ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems
  • Fluency in English
