  • We work with project management standards, framework, processes, and tools supporting our project managers in execution of projects

  • We ensure that we have the right project management processes, tools and training to support our project managers and their teams

  • We empower our organization to deliver its projects and initiatives by securing a common project management framework, approach and support of systems and tools

  • We develop, produce and maintain project management processes, tools, templates and training

  • We support and train our project managers in execution of their projects

  • We have focus on quality in project execution and daily management of projects

  • We secure project managers have a voice and place to embed best practices into our framework, processes and tools

  • We want to make it transparent, simple, and easy for project managers and project teams to deliver projects

  • We deliver transversal projects inside Quality, Improvement and Processes organization (QiP)

  • You will be part of Project Management team with a close relation to our engineering organization. You will be coordinating multi-disciplined and cross-functional projects primarily related to product and engineering development

  • The type of project may vary from technology products, product development and other types of solutions



The key responsibilities include:

  • Budget, plan and complete several projects, work packages and tasks

  • Ensure delivery within time, quality and cost targets

  • Ensure required staffing to complete according to project plan

  • Interface with large range of stakeholders in the entire value chain

  • Report on project progress, project control milestones, issues and risks through weekly reports on dashboards

  • Coordinate the day-to-day project activities, host project management core team meetings

  • Foster Agile Way of Working



  • You have proven to be a productive project manager of complex cross-functional R&D projects and you have the following qualifications:

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering

  • Hands on project & planning management experience (minimum 5 years) preferentially in hybrid or agile environment in large matrix organizations, and ideally having started career as engineer (R&D)

  • Experience running projects with SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Microsoft Project, JIRA and Microsoft PowerBI

  • Achieved recognized project management accreditation (Prince2, PMP, SAFe), being familiar with fully agile, hybrid and waterfall project management frameworks and Stage-Gate Model project delivery

  • Be willing to travel occasionally outside of Portugal (depending on specific project requirements)



The ideal candidate should:

  • Approach new opportunities with efficient collaboration mindset, willing to empower teams and team members

  • Experience in Change Management and stakeholder management including proficiencies within conflict resolution and negotiation

  • Have a solid commercial understanding and can naturally incorporate external partners, as well as the full value chain of Vestas on daily work

  • Experience working on international environments

  • Be a effective and engaging communicator, using English as main language at professional level

  • Be experienced using JIRA, Microsoft Project, SAP PPM systems in project management environment

  • Be familiar with MIcrosoft Office and PowerBI applications
