This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas MED region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety, and environment. The key task is the strategic and operational development of key suppliers in South Europe, Turkey, the Middle East & Africa region by performing site audits, supplier assessments, and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents, and reduce the number of non-conformities. The SQ&D Department is part of a matrix organization covering global and regional demands collaborating with multiple internal functions i.e. procurement, engineering, manufacturing facilities, service & project management.

Requisitions

• Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety, and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers for Capex & Tools
• Develop supplier quality, capability, and performance in compliance with regional & global strategy
• Create new markets entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vesta's processes are followed (Supplier approval & Qualifications)
• Secure agreement with regional QHSE & Capex & Tools team for completion of supplier improvement activities
• Support QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements
• Drive Supplier Performance Review Meetings with cross-functional participation
• Ensure that relevant QSE agreements with suppliers are in place
• Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiatives, conduct QHSE audits, and prepare-present executive reports

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in Welding or equivalent qualification
• Having +3 years experience in similar role / relevant industry background.
• Certification / Experience in APQP framework will be beneficial
• Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications will be an added value
• Green Belt Six Sigma qualification will be an added value

Competencies

• Relevant commodity acumen with certifications (IWE...)
• High project management skills with the ability to deliver complex development projects across the organization
• Competency in data analytics and good problem-solving skills, having the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems
• Good communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, diverse & cross-functional environment
• Motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills.
• Full proficiency in English
