You will be part of Blade Module in Vestas Power Solutions. You will be working with around 350 engineers and project managers across 3 main locations: Aarhus, Porto, and UK/Isle of Wight. Your responsibilities will be to build, coordinate and coordinate teams across Vestas Power Solutions, Manufacturing & Global Procurement covering NPI Manufacturing and Global Quality. Your base will be in one of our main offices, however travelling to Vestas' sites globally is expected occasionally and when needed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, budget, and implement multiple projects, work packages, tasks and risks issues.
  • Ensure that projects are implemented and implemented on time for filling Safety, Quality and Cost Target
  • Identification of Critical Path and mitigation of key risks in project cycle including appropriate communication to key stakeholders and Management team
  • Able to contribute effectively to People Management together with competencies in both the technical and commercial sides.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master's degree in engineering/management
  • Experience as a Project Manager for Medium & Large projects involving cross-Functional & cross-Cultural teams.
  • Relevant experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Industries - in the wind energy business is a big plus.
  • Project management skills (E.g. Prince 2/IPMA)
  • For external candidates, experience using Waterfall\Gate Stages project is an added value.
  • For internal candidates, knowledge of Vestas Way to Market (VWtM) or MPD would be a beneficial asset.
  • Atlassian Jira software previous is also valuable.
  • You have solid communication skills and experience communicating with a broad set of stakeholders on all levels.
