Responsibilities

As the Global Strategic Purchaser for Lubricants, you will:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for lubricants, aligning with Vestas' overall business goals
• Manage one of the largest spends within Service Material Procurement, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement
• Build and maintain effective relationships with critical strategic suppliers, who are also some of Vestas' largest customers
• Coordinate cross-functional projects to optimize the supply chain and enhance supplier performance
• Conduct annual negotiations to secure the best agreements and solutions for Vestas
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, to align procurement strategies with customer needs and enable the sale of more turbines
• Seek to engage suppliers in managing the uptime and reliability of our turbines, promoting a teamwork-oriented method to uphold high performance standards

Qualifications

• We are looking for candidates with:
• A relevant university degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in strategic procurement. If this experience is within the lubricants or related industry it will be valued
• Ability to negotiate with skill and oversee cross-departmental projects
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
