Simulation Development is responsible for propelling, defining, and ensuring that both short and long-term targets are met for HOW we simulate physical phenomena across our wind turbine platforms and modules. The department is also responsible for the overall simulation strategy and thereby HOW our simulation tools - both proprietary, bespoke, and commercial - are working together.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, cultivating a collaborative and productive environment
  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, C#, .NET, Blazor, and Kusto
  • Implement and manage cloud solutions, including DevOps pipelines and IoT Edge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow from edge devices to the cloud
  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards using Kusto to provide actionable insights to end-users
  • Ensure code quality, security, and performance through code reviews and best practices
  • Create Low-Level Designs (LLD) to guide development and support junior developers

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software or Information Technology or a similar Engineering degree
  • Experience with Azure cloud solutions, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Azure IoT Edge
  • Experience in data acquisition and processing on edge devices
  • Familiarity with cloud data lakes and data visualization techniques
  • Previous experience in a lead or senior developer role
  • Knowledge and experience with containers and Kubernetes

  • Demonstrated experience in software development with proficiency in Python, C#, .NET, Blazor, and Kusto
  • Extensive experience with cloud solutions, DevOps pipelines, and IoT Edge
  • Leadership and team management skills

  • Capability to thrive in a lively and challenging setting
