You will be part of the DevEx department; the purpose is to let the module's developers be developers by providing services, applications, and automation to delivery teams. Our mission is to accelerate development time and enhance developer experience. 

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to guide a team of software engineers building reliable, scalable applications and backend services using Python and .NET. In this role, you will combine practical development, technical leadership, and planning responsibility, playing a key part in both delivery execution and the long‑term evolution of our systems and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices
• Fix, debug, and optimize existing applications
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years as a C# .NET Developer or in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of C#, .NET and Test frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET, WPF)
• Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
• Good English proficiency (written and spoken)

This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal. Applicants must be authorized to work in Portugal. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
