The Installation Department East is in charge of installation and commissioning of all wind farm projects from start to completion, in our East cluster, made of Romania, Ukraine and Croatia, and other countries in the area where business is under development. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once the contract is signed and remains responsible until the end of the final tests. Located on site in Ukraine, working closely with the Site Manager, Logistics, Purchasing and Finance departments, Subcontractors, the Installation Supervisor must lead the activities on field to ensure that safety, quality and planning standard are met and provide technical assistance.

Responsibilities

Being part of team managed by Site Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for:

• Respect and is accountable the Safety and for Quality on site
• Supervision of lifting operations, wind turbine preparation, and inspection
• Follow-up of the work inside the wind turbine on all the Vestas wind parks that are being assembled
• Responsible for the guarantee of quality, and carry out reports of non-compliance and punch lists during the installation of wind turbines
• Ensure that the components are unloaded properly
• Reporting on safety cost planning quality improvement and deviations

Qualifications

• High school diploma + 2-3 years in construction management or an equivalent field
• 1-2 years of experience in site and team management
• Knowledge of safety, of management procedures

Competencies

• Fluency in both Ukrainian and English (English is the official language of the Group)
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A high priority placed on creating a safe working environment and managing crises
• Leadership and team management skills
• The skill to maintain focus and order in demanding environments

Additional Information

This position requires geographical mobility (accommodation will be provided by the company during the installation of the parks) and training (in Denmark or Spain).
